Hello Insiders!
Welcome to your remote-friendly Summer mailing! We have lots of things to help you stay secure and social, even while distancing. Here’s what we have for you!
Activities
While we can’t send you treats, we can send you some of our favorite recipes (with added security themes). If you make one of these dishes, we would love to see how it turns out!
Check out these four short security tales and fill in the blanks to make them a bit more fun. This classic road trip game works surprisingly well over Zoom or print them out and do them away from the screen.
Bored kids wanting to color? Feeling like a kid and want to color? Or, perhaps you are just curious about how one could make a coloring page about security. There’s a good metaphor for VPN in there, and a pre-colored version if you’d rather skip the crayons.
Looking for a few good reads? We have you covered with four books to choose from. We’ll have hosted discussions about these books as well, so you can pop in and share your thoughts. Maybe your department could pick a book and read it together or let everyone pick their own and have your own discussions, too.
Security Tips
Lots of people are fixing up things around the home while staying home. Maybe you should review your home WiFi security. Follow this guide for tips on keeping your network protected.
Everyone always says you should use VPN. But why, and what does VPN even mean? This infographic should explain the benefits of turning on that VPN.
Stay Connected
We have content available on demand or by scheduled request. From short YouTube clips, LinkedIn Learning Courses or Zoom talks- we want you to have the right information to share with your colleagues. We will keep this page up to date with content for Security Insiders to share with their teams.
Do you have a burning question about information security? Do your teammates? If so, don’t miss our Ask Us Anything about Cyber Security panel discussion. We are partnering with Socialize Remotely to connect you with security professionals from our Operations, Field Support, and Security Education teams. Sign up today!
We hope these security tips, activities, and opportunities to connect are helpful to you as you promote good security actions within your team.
Best Regards and Happy Summer!
