Spring 2020 Mailing

Dear Insiders,

Welcome to the Spring 2020 mailing, electronic edition. Though our plan for a 'Secure and Sustainable' Earth Day celebration and secure electronics recycling has been deferred, we have some useful content to help you work safely and securely while remote. Going forward, we will look for new ways to help you engage with your co-workers remotely, such as videos, quizzes, and zoom presentations.

Work Securely Everywhere

We’ve developed a guide to working securely everywhere. You can find this in the Resources>Printable section of our newly designed and re-vamped website. Here it is.

While you're there, please explore the new www.security.harvard.edu and let us know what you think!

Zoom Security Guide

Since we're all using more Zoom than we ever thought possible, we want you to know about its security features. That’s why we made the Zoom Security Guide.

Electronics Cleaning Guide

We are on our computers and phones all the time. Keeping them virus free is important, and not just the electronic kind. This guide tells you how to clean your electronics without damaging them.

 Zoom Backgrounds

Using a virtual background is a simple way to change up your Zoom experience and maintain some privacy while working remotely. We offer these backgrounds to you to help remind those you Zoom with that Small Actions really do make a Big Difference to everyone's security.  Since we are all indoors, we decided to theme our first backgrounds around nature.

As always, we appreciate you Info Security Insiders. Please let us know if you'd like a Zoom presentation or virtual workshop on any security topic, challenge, or accomplishment you'd like to share.

Sincerely,

Micah and Liz
